Therapy that goes further than talking — working with the body, the nervous system, and the patterns that keep you stuck long after you've understood why.

I’d done years of CBT and understood my anxiety inside out, but I couldn’t shift it. Working with Sobbia was the first time I felt something change in my body rather than just my thinking. A pattern I’d carried since my teens quietly stopped running my life. I didn’t expect it to work that fast, and I definitely didn’t expect it to feel that physical.

Who this is for
This work is for people who want things to actually get better, not just be endlessly managed or coped with.
Some people find their way to therapy fairly easily. They identify a problem, they find someone suitable, it helps.
This is for the ones still looking.
For the ones who’ve never quite known where to start.
Or whether any of it would actually help.
Many have been carrying something for a long time, long enough that it’s become part of how they move through the world. They’ve tried to manage it, understand it, outrun it, and some might even have sat in therapy rooms before and felt that something important wasn’t being reached.
Others feel things more intensely than the world seems built for, or don’t quite fit the standard frameworks, and have mostly learned to live with that.
If you’ve spent a long time feeling like too much, or not enough, or simply other, and some part of you knows the real work hasn’t happened yet, you’re probably in the right place.
If you’ve spent a long time feeling like too much, or not enough, or simply other, and some part of you knows the real work hasn’t happened yet, you’re probably in the right place.

People find their way here from very different places. Some arrive because something specific has just happened, while others just know that something isn’t quite right. Some have the exact words for it. Others don’t, yet. However you’ve found your way here, that’s a perfectly good place to begin.

I’m Sobbia, an Integrative Therapist, advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist, and Level 3 IFS therapist. I’m trained across several different approaches that bring together your mind, body and subconscious. What that means in practice is this: I don’t just listen to what’s wrong. I work with all of you - what you think, what you feel, and what your body has been holding onto - so things don’t just make sense, they also start to shift in a way you can feel. If you’re looking for someone who can meet all of you, I think you’re in the right place.
More About SobbiaA note from Sobbia
Something tends to shift when people feel truly seen, rather than managed, analysed or told what to do. That’s what I offer.
A space where the parts of you that don’t quite fit anywhere else are welcome.
The thoughts and beliefs that quietly run the show, often formed so early you’ve mistaken them for truth. Brought into the light, they start to loosen.
Integrative counselling · IFSEmotions, self-worth and the capacity to feel without being overwhelmed. Where compassion for yourself becomes possible.
Depth psychology · Parts workYour nervous system holds what words haven’t reached. The body is a starting point, not an afterthought.
Somatic therapy · Polyvagal theoryBeliefs and protective responses formed long before you had words for them, gently accessed and updated.
Clinical hypnotherapyAnxiety can look like overthinking.
Low self-worth can look like perfectionism.
Burnout can look like a lack of motivation.
Relationship struggles can feel like bad luck.
Because nothing you experience exists in isolation.
Over years of training and working with people, I’ve built a way of working that goes beyond talking alone. It draws on somatic therapy, parts work and the polyvagal model, alongside neuroscience-based approaches that work with how the brain updates and lets go of old patterns. My method is an integrative and comprehensive one. It meets your thoughts, nervous system and deeper patterns all at once, not one at a time.

This is the heart of the work I offer, trauma-informed and shaped by what you bring into the room each week, not a rigid structure. It’s grounded in integrative therapy, and where it’s useful, sessions can also draw on clinical hypnotherapy or therapeutic coaching.

I came in convinced I just needed to talk things through. I had no idea what somatic therapy even meant. A few weeks later I understood why my nervous system had been stuck in the same loop for years, and more importantly, it’s not anymore. Sobbia holds things in a way I’ve never experienced with any other therapist.
I’d been sceptical about anything beyond talking. But within a few sessions something clicked that ten years of counselling hadn’t touched. I sleep better. I don’t spiral the way I used to. I feel like I actually live in myself now.
I’d tried three different therapists before Sobbia. All good people, but I always left feeling like we’d only scratched the surface. From the first session something felt different. She was tracking things I hadn’t even said out loud yet. I’m a genuinely different person now. I don’t say that lightly.
