My Approach

Therapy for your whole self not just the part that talks.

An integrative approach rooted in neuroscience, somatic practice, and depth psychology: holding your nervous system, your inner world, and the subconscious patterns beneath it all in the same field of attention.

The Philosophy

Therapy isn't about
fixing what's broken

My way of working is grounded in the belief that lasting change comes from meeting the whole of you, not just the parts that are easiest to talk about. If you're struggling, it isn't because something in you is broken. More often, it's because parts of you have not been met in the way you need. Your thoughts and feelings, the responses held in your body, and the deeper patterns shaping how you relate to yourself and others: all of it matters and belongs in the work we do together.

"Real change happens when your body, not just your mind, learns that it's safe to let go."

In sessions, this means following what's actually present in the room, session to session, rather than working from a fixed script. I draw on somatic and nervous-system-informed approaches, parts-based work, and clinical hypnotherapy, integrated in a way that's shaped around you and what you need. Over time, this allows patterns that once felt automatic to be understood and gently reshaped, so that change feels less like something you have to force, and more like something that begins to happen on its own.

Who This Is For

People whose lives don't fit a single category

My clients come to me carrying all kinds of things. Sometimes it's anxiety or a pattern that's hard to shake. Other times it's several things layered together, such as a history shaped by relationships, family and culture, none of it easy to separate out. It could also be a nervous system that has been working overtime for years, or a persistent feeling of not quite belonging, whether that shows up in therapy rooms, within their own families, or out in the wider world.

Many have a complicated relationship with therapy itself: some have tried it and found it stayed too much on the surface, while others have never quite managed to begin. What they tend to share is a sense that there is deeper work still to do, and a genuine readiness to do it.

01
A complex history

Experiences like trauma, relational rupture, estrangement, or abuse can leave a mark that ordinary life hasn't touched.

02
Therapy has never quite landed

Whether it hasn't worked before, or you've never found the courage to try, you've needed something that meets more of you.

03
You don't fit the standard frameworks

Whether it's neurodivergence, cultural background, orientation, or intense life experiences, the usual categories have always felt like they were built for someone else.

04
A sensitive nervous system

You feel things intensely, and your body responds to the world in ways that have been hard to explain, manage, or make sense of.

If this feels familiar,
you're likely in the right place…

You're someone who thinks deeply about yourself but struggles to feel the difference in your body. You want a therapist who will be honest, hold things carefully, and bring genuine curiosity - not a formula - to your experience. You're open to working in ways that might feel unfamiliar at first.

A note on fit

The work I do is depth-oriented and requires genuine willingness to engage with the parts of yourself that are uncomfortable to look at, not just the ones you've already made sense of. I don't offer crisis or emergency support. If I'm not the right fit, I'll do my best to point you somewhere that is.

In Practice

How the work actually works

What happens in the room, and why it's different from what you might expect.

01 Relational foundation
We begin with your story

Every person arrives with a unique history: the events, relationships, and experiences that have shaped how you move through the world. There's no rush to fix.

02 Somatic awareness
We pay attention to the body

Your nervous system holds information that words can't always reach. I'll gently invite you to notice what's happening in your body: sensation, tension, breath.

03 Parts work & depth
We work with your inner world

Drawing on IFS and depth psychology, we explore the different parts of you: protective strategies, inner critics, and younger selves, with curiosity, not judgment.

04 Integration & change
We let the work integrate

Change isn't linear. We create space for what emerges between sessions and track what's shifting over time, seeking a felt, lasting difference.

Trauma-Informed & Trauma-Attuned

All of the work here is trauma-informed. That means it is grounded in a deeper understanding of how trauma and chronic stress shape your nervous system, relationships, sense of self, and how you move through the world. I also stay attuned to you throughout each session, closely following your lead on the pace of the work, your body's signals, and what feels safe to you, moment to moment. Nothing moves faster than you're ready for.

The Modalities

Approaches I draw from

I'm trained in several distinct approaches and draw from all of them in my work with you. Each has its own page if you'd like to go deeper.
